Fresh soy milk at tofu shops is really wonderful. The taste
may be a little bit too soy but its freshness beat every minor
downside. I drank it like I used to do with milk, straight
from the bottle. Feel so refreshed!

I found fashionable fake leather sneakers (for
ladies) at Bleu Bleuet, atre UENO, the new shopping center in
the train station building. There is also American Pharmacy,
an imported fancy goods/foods/drug store, and Starbucks. I didn't
check it but the deli, news DELI, possibly have something veggie.

Attended "Vege-Dining Party." To promote their
new book, "Vege-Dining," the publisher invited professional
chefs and food service people to introduce a variety of vegetarian
menus. Yes, we were able to have a bite of each sample, for
free! But I was rather impressed with the fact that more than
170 people gathered to see how vegetarian foods were. They looked
really serious, I can say. Maybe in the near future, you'll
taste delicious vegetarian dishes at hotel dining rooms or restaurants
in Tokyo without any problems. |
